handmade ... a sweet thought

to recycle a glass jar (mine was instant coffee);

masking tape;

black chalkboard paint;

a soft brush;

a bit 'of Tape tissues (measured by the circumference of the cover);

a large rectangle of cardboard (or true);

a piece of ribbon "rat tail";

the goatee ...

When deciding how high to make the strip to be painted with chalkboard paint, using a meter and using a permanent marker, make dots to mark the margins of painting.

Apply a strip of masking tape immediately above (the upper edge) and just below (for the bottom edge) that have marked the dots, as in the photo ...

Shake the paint board (opitec) and with the help of a very soft brush roll it out to the center of the can, between two strips of scotch.
Wait for dry goods well and apply a second coat trying to give the color in the same direction.
I have created a circle (by hand) even on the top of the lid.

Once dry, remove the tape and adorned with ribbons of lace. In this case it was simply tied to either side, so you can take off if we wash the jar and reuse it in another way.

Even the cover was embellished with a ribbon appropriate for the occasion, simply stopped with Scotch adhesive thickness.

To camouflage the closure of the tape, I applied a button (for scraps of cardboard) always with the adhesive thickness, which blends in imagination and color to the vessel, after it is decorated with a piece of "rat tail" tied to the center.

I wrote with chalk on the "blackboard"
